Crowns:
A crown cover the entire tooth visible above the gum line, enclosing the damaged tooth completely. There are three main types of crowns used in different situations. There is the porcelain to metal crowns, all-metal (gold) and then there are the all ceramic crowns.

Bridges:
A bridge is made to replace a missing tooth or teeth in your mouth. This is a permanent appliance that you do not take out of your mouth.

Dental Implants:
Dental Implants are used for one or more missing teeth. It is surgically placed in the jaw and allowed to heal over a period of months. Then this “replacement” can be restored with a porcelain cap or crown.

Dentures/Partials:
Partial dentures are removable appliances for the replacement of one or more missing teeth. When all teeth are missing a full denture is made.

There are two main types of partial dentures.

(1) is the traditional steel partial and
(2) is the flexible metal-free partial called a valplast partial denture.

Tooth-colored fillings:
They are also called composite fillings or white fillings are made of resin that is colored to blend right into the tooth, rendering the filling virtually invisible. Contemporary composite fillings are long lasting because they bond to enamel to help prevent breaking and insulate from temperature changes. This strengthens teeth and reduces the risk of tooth cracks due to the expansion and contraction properties of amalgam. Best of all they look better than black fillings any day.
